Three floors of a New Town terrace returned to panelled rooms, deep chairs and the discipline of not filling every corner.

The club wanted rooms that felt inherited rather than designed. We restored the panelling, darkened it, and let the furniture arrive in a mix of periods.
Each room takes its character from its window: one for morning reading, one for afternoon meetings, one that only really works after dark.
