A glazed rooftop room designed for the four hours either side of sunset, when the city goes amber and then blue.

The brief

  • Interior design and bar layout
  • Bespoke bar and back-fitting
  • Lighting design
  • FF&E procurement

We lit the room to be seen from outside as much as from within: a warm box above a cold street.

Fixed seating hugs the glass; the centre stays deliberately empty so the room never looks half full.
