A 340-key transit hotel rebuilt around the idea that the most valuable thing you can give a tired traveller is quiet.

A full refurbishment delivered in four phases while the hotel stayed open. Every specification had to survive continuous use and a five-year replacement cycle.

We reduced the palette to three materials and let the glazing do the work, treating the apron beyond the windows as the room's only picture.
